Blog readers, I would like to introduce to you a new friend of mine, Ollie.
Ollie is a black energy efficient oven, she has a flat top stove with a fifth element for warming, she has a quick bake option and has fan convection.
We have already clicked and have a lot in common, like cooking and baking. Don't be jealous though readers, although we will be spending some time together, I will include you in many of our adventures. Ollie will grace me with warm loaves of bread, frying an egg and baking my first turkey. Some of you may be there for those very occasions! And for others, I will be blogging them. (Okay, maybe not the mundane things like frying an egg.)
Ollie will be a large part of my adventure here on Copy Cat Cook as I work my way through this book. Sometimes I may hate Ollie (or tell her that I do) but I don't actually. Sometimes I may be tempted not to clean her, or wipe her free of spills. This will all just be proof of our trials and errors, also our successes.
P.S. I have taken a good look through this book. It is quite daunting. Apparently even real "foodies" find this book somewhat intimidating. This is when I am thankful that I didn't give myself a deadline.
P.P.S. Does anyone like meats such as Kidney and Liver?!
