Souvlaki

Tonight we are celebrating the Holy Week with our Community Group. The night before Jesus was crucified he shared one last meal with his disciples. It is famously depicted in paintings such as this one by Leonardo Da Vinci:

Traditionally, the Passover Feast consists of wine, lamb and unleavened bread. Click here to read what Wikipedia has to say about the Passover Feast. For a better description, well read about it in Exodus.

Tonight, we are gathering for a meal to share, followed by communion. Celebrating Holy Week, beginning with Palm Sunday (again, sorry to resource Wiki.) , is something that is very sacred and special to Spencer and I, and Christianity as a whole.

Tonight we are feasting on Chicken and Lamb souvlaki, rice, vegetables and bread. We will sit together and break the bread, drink the wine and Praise God that He sent His son for us!
